We handle all mandatory registrations, including:

  • Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Personal identification Number (PIN):A unique tax number issued by the KRA to track a company’s tax compliance, filings, and statutory obligations under Kenyan law.
  • Pay As You Earn(PAYE):Mandatory statutory deduction for employee earning above Kes. 24,000 per month.Employers deduct and remit to KRA by the 9th day of the following month.
  • Corporate Income Tax:This is charged 30% for resident,subsidiary companies  and  branches of foreign companies,an additional branch/permanent establishment (PE) repatriation tax of 15%
  • VAT Registration:16% on taxable goods/services remitted by the 20th of the next month).It is Mandatory if annual turnover exceeds Kes. 5M
  • County Business Permits: Issued by local county government, covers operations, fire safety, and advertising.
  • NSSF (National Social Security Fund) and SHIF(Social Health Insurance Fund):  Retirement and health fund contributions (monthly remittance).
  • National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Levy:Kes.50 per employee per month for industrial training.
  • Work Injury Benefit Act (WIBA) Insurance:Covers workplace injuries
  • Tax Compliance Certificates (TCC) :Proof of tax compliance, required for government tenders and licensing.

4. Domiciliation & Local Representation

  • Local Business Address: Use our physical address for official registrations and compliance.
  • Nominee Directors/Trustees: Our professionals act as your local representatives for government, banking, and legal requirements.
