Caroline is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner of Oaths, a Certified Public Secretary and a Certified Legal Auditor with over six years of experience in providing legal expertise. She is well versed in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, competition law, data protection, corporate governance, statutory and regulatory compliance as well as company law and practice.
Caroline has worked with private and public listed entities in Kenya and across East Africa in offering strategic guidance on legal and regulatory compliance. She is well adept in setting up entities in Kenya, including liaising with local and international investors to provide advisory on investment structuring, company registration and regulatory compliance. She also oversees and supports Companies going through mergers and acquisitions and requiring due diligence, particularly those receiving funds from various investors and private equity funds. Additionally, she provides governance support for Boards, Committees, and Annual General Meetings, including drafting board charters and policies.
Caroline’s professional memberships and affiliations include the Law Society of Kenya, Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya and Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya (FIDA Kenya).
